- Not always true... what about the situation where you boot with the
- floppy in, then remove it and replace it without shutting down in
- between? The floppy drive is still recognised.

- My friend and I have done this when transferring things between our
- 100's by floppy when we only had the one floppy drive.

- the drive from machine to machine as required. So the question remains:
