- No real experience, but I called them twice to ask about the
- advertisement for the new Duo's in MacWeek. Both times they quoted
- me a price, then said "oh, but we're out of stock right now. What
- you want to do is get on our waitin list." Resonable enough, but
- they want the entire purchase price up front to get on that list.
- When I asked then the first time how many people were on the list,
- when they were getting the 230 4/120 and how many they were getting
- they told me 5-6, in two weeks, and 25. Last time they told me
- 5-6, in four weeks, and 7-8. I'm suggesting that there not a
- good business, or aren't offering exactly what they plan to
- deliver, but I'd be reticent to send full purchase price for a
- machine who, most likely, they can't deliver any faster than the
- next guy. Which I think is the case. Has anyone received any
- of the new macs from these folks yet? I would dearly like my
- suspicians to be proved wrong!
