- Simple answer: Only Ultima III.
-
- Long story and explanation: Ultima III was ported several years ago when
- the mac was fairly young and Ultima itself was at about IV. This may or
- may not be still available for sale. It was a direct port for the b/w 9"
- screen macs, and didn't take advantage of the Mac's capabilities. My guess
- is that is was not that successful. Later, some undergrads at some
- university in Texas apparently did a huge project with Origin's cooperation
- and ported one of the games (I think it was V) to the mac for a class
- project in large systems. It was nearly finished when their semester
- ended. It had served it's purpose, (It got at least one of them a job at
- Origin) and it was, reportedly, shelved indefinitely. Garriot (Lord
- British) is supposed to love the mac. It's said that he has one on his
- desk, even. But their corporate feeling is that Mac games aren't worth the
- investment due to the usual factors: small installed base, smaller
- games-buying market, price of packaging and promotion in order to turn a
- profit. Various efforts have been undertaken to petition Origin to at
- least finish that port and release it, but none have had any real success.
- I guess a change in the mac gaming market, or the success of other similar
- games might change their mind, though...
