- This is surely a most rudimentary FAQ, and I must be stupid. Now then:
-
- I have a field for a vendor code. I have a field for a part number. Together
- (concatenated) they must be unique. How do I check when the user enters these
- two fields that the result of their concatenation (&) is unique, while the
- individual field entries themselves will not need to be unique?
-
- Ex: Vendor Code A1
- Part No. 666
-
- Neither A1 nor 666 should be tested for uniqueness, but A1-666 should. How?
- Easy, right? Thanks in advance
