- After trying to use Alarming Events and QuickDex to keep track of calls to
- colleagues and possible funding sources, I have decided I need a contact
- management program. My needs are a program to remind me to follow up on
- calls, to call back if no answer is received, to keep notes of calls, to
- dial quickly and to link to Word for writing letters. Alarming Events does
- not allow notes to get very large, and is not linked to my dialing program
- Quickdex. Quickdex is good for notes and dialing, but is not linked to
- remind me when to call.
-
- I have looked at contact management software for sales people. The one I
- tried is Act! It does what I want although the formats are kind of rigid.
- The trouble is that I cannot afford $270 for this purpose. Can anyone
- recommend a less expensive contact management package?
