- First, let me congratulate Nir Ailon of Israel for doing something
- useful with the Macintosh while in 12th grade!
-
- 'NEW teeny deriver' does what it claims. Give it a function and the derivative
- appears. I had some fun ploting these functions with MathPad, an interesting
- plotting tool for simple tasks.
-
- My concern is that 'NEW teeny deriver' does not use a Menu Bar nor seem
- particularly friendly to switching programs. I tried it with System 7.01
- and immediately had problems when I tried to switch to another program.
- 'NEW teeny deriver' did not create the Menu Bar again, did not release
- computer to the other program. Stuck? I don't often have cause to use
- 'Command-option-escape' to force quit a program, glad it is there though.
-
- 'NEW teeny deriver' does appear to safely quit when its 'q' quit command
- is used, just don't try to switch windows. Give it a try with caution and
- send Nir a postcard and $5 if you find it useful!
