- Hi! netters,
-
- I am using Microsoft Word for Mac 4.0 at office while using Word for
- Windows 2.0 at home. The problem I am having is that I need to make a
- crossreference in my document to a footnote. It can be easily done in W4W
- 2.0 using Insert-Field-crossreffootnote. The crossref mark will be updated
- when the referenced object being moved. HOwever, when I laod my doc in W4W
- format in to Mac I found W4M 5.0 have no crossref function. The crossref
- mark was displayed as a common text and will not be updatd if I move the
- referenced object to somewhere else. I'd like to ask,
-
- 1. What is the newest version of W4M? is v5.0 the latest one?
-
- 2. Is there any way to have W4M created a crossref?
-
- 3. Is there is Word version which fuctions in the same way on both Windows
- and Mac, and even shared the same format for document files, like what Excel
- 4.0 does?
-
- Please e-mail if you can help
-
- Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
