- This is being posted for a friend without net access,
- so I apologize in advance for any unknowns.
-
- His problem is pretty simple: images scanned into Canvas
- with a ScanMan handheld scanner look fine on the screen,
- but print with white lines through them. This doesn't
- happen all the time, but is more frequent with objects
- that have large amounts of solid area.
-
- A consistent way to avoid the problem is to import the
- image into ClarisWorks, and print it from there. (He
- hasn't tried any other programs.)
-
- The problem shows up when printing to both Postscript
- (LaserWriter NT) and non-Postscript (DeskWriter) printers.
-
- He's seen this on both a IIsi running 7.0.1 w/TU1.1.1
- and an SE with an ImagePro 030 accelerator running 6.0.7.
-
- I don't know what inits he has, but if anybody thinks it's
- important, I'd be happy to check.
-
- The version of Canvas is 3.0.4.
-
- I'd prefer email, but posting is fine too.
-
- Thanks!
