- This may be more appropriate in another forum, but...
-
- We have three networks of Mac SEs and a handfule of Pluses. Every once in
- awhile, some wiseacre decides he's gonna have some fun with us and reformats
- the drive and installs a minimal system on it. Is there currently a SCSI
- driver that, once installed, will prevent this without a password?
- What I am looking for is:
-
- Driver level
- Only requires a password if user boots from floppy or
- tries to erase the hard drive
- Shreds the floppy if password is wrong after a
- operator-selectable number of times
-
- Does such a beast exsist? If not, how difficult would it be to implement? If
- it does, where can I get it, and how much will it cost me?
-
- Thanks very much in advance!
