  14. This little story may serve as a warning to people contemplating purchasing
  15. Music Publisher.

  17. I have practically given up using Music Publisher 2.5.3 from Repertoire
  18. (a company located in Australia). This program eats its own preferences
  19. file!

  21. I've called their support number in California, and it was disconnected.
  22.  
  23. A fine soul on the net gave me Repertoire's address and the name of their
  24. marketing director. I have written him three times, but he only replied
  25. to my first letter.
  26.  
  27. He he admitted that Music Publisher 2.5.3 is buggy, and advised me to revert
  28. to an earlier version. This is impossible, since I only received one version
  29. (2.5.3). He went on further on how his company is small (so I guess I should
  30. give him a break). He also included a copy of a letter of praise he received
  31. about Music Publisher from another US user. These things, however, have not
  32. kept Music Publisher from eating its preferences file.

  34. I subsequently sent him two more letters. I have received no reply from either.

  36. Does anyone out there know what the current version of Music Publisher is?
  37. Is Repertoire still in business?

  39. I feel abandoned by Mr. Beinvenue and Repertoire. This product was reviewed in
  40. MacUser (September 91?) and given a favourable rating.

  42. I spent $244 on this and have basically received shit for support.
