- Hi, folks.
-
- I am desparately seeking some advice on how to make a unix printer
- act like a apple talk printer for ethertalk. So far, I got the
- appletalk part working. In other words, the printer is recognized by
- the appletalk. However, when we tried to print from the mac, nothing
- came out and we got some postscript error:
-
- %%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: F ]%%^M
- %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%^M
-
- We went back to the doc on lwsrv and noticed that "A generic problem with
- LaserWriter spoolers is that the proper Apple dictionary must be
- downloaded to the LaserWriter..." and we also realized that we have
- enscript intalled. These may be the problem. Would someone out
- there who had experience with this particular matter give me some
- suggestions on how to setup the printer and server properly?
-
- Thanks.
