  16. You are running a *very* old version of the O.S.  I vaguely remember
  17. one of my customers having similar problems with that version which
  18. were cleared up when they upgraded.  Current version is R3v7.1.  In
  19. addition to lots of bug fixes and a bunch of new features since v5,
  20. you may enjoy some additional configurability of the kernel, allowing
  21. you to sysgen out most/all of the drivers that you are not using.
  22. That may help your memory situation, or at least keep you even with
  23. the increased size of v7.1.  (All software grows as it ages, doesn't
  24. it?)
