- You are running a *very* old version of the O.S. I vaguely remember
- one of my customers having similar problems with that version which
- were cleared up when they upgraded. Current version is R3v7.1. In
- addition to lots of bug fixes and a bunch of new features since v5,
- you may enjoy some additional configurability of the kernel, allowing
- you to sysgen out most/all of the drivers that you are not using.
- That may help your memory situation, or at least keep you even with
- the increased size of v7.1. (All software grows as it ages, doesn't
- it?)
