- I know that Megahertz makes PCMCIA modems in both
- 2400 and 14.4bps (v.32bis) speeds. I'm not sure how much they cost, but
- I think that the 2400baud version will be in the $300 range. It does include
- a fax modem too. They use a clever, but probably fragile connecter for the
- phone line that pulls out of the outside edge of the card.

- You might also consider the Hayes pocket edition modem. It is only about $150
- and is powered by the serial port (no battere like other pocket modems)
- and its really tiny.
