- My department bought six of them about 2-3 months ago. We have nothing but
- good words to say about them. They were bought to replace some CompuTRASH
- (CompuDyne) that we had bought 3 months earlier (very bad experience).
-
- TO be good consumers we posted the net to get a feel of their reliability.
- The all seemed rather OK, until we got a response oneday detailing a
- problem with the keyboard. We called the 800 service number and talked
- with Dell about this problem. Not only did the tech admit to a problem, but
- he was also well versed in the cause and current policies to address this.
- They included free shipping and a 24 hour turnaround to fix a bad chip lot
- received from a vendor. This impresses us since we hadn't received our
- machines yet and really weren't a customer to speak of. Imagine that, an
- open and honest company to deal with!
-
- Well, we travel extensively and since the company owns them they probably
- receive more abuse than an individual owner would subject them to and they
- are far and away MUCH better that the previous ones. (four of them never
- made it out of the office before they broke!) I would recommend them at
- this point. Good Luck!
