  15. Our server is an RT 135 running AIX 2.2.1
  16.  
  17. This week the disk with the root directory went haywire and I had
  18. to re-load the OS from scratch on a new disk.
  19.  
  20. Unfortunately, I haven't backed it up since our ethernet came in about 3
  21. years ago and now I can't figure out where to enter the following
  22. variables:
  23.  
  24. subnetmask
  25. broadcast
  26. gateway
  27.  
  28. Originally, our IBM Tech Rep came out and did it for us.
  29.  
  30. Please somebody grep for these in your /etc directory and E-mail
  31. me the results (or if you have the man pages...).

  33. If you help me out than you're welcome to scold me for not backing up.
