  14. I am currently involved in a senior design project that requires me
  15. to interface an external device to a PC parallel port and
  16. control it using that port (since PC parallel ports are bidirectional).
  17.  
  18. However, I have run into a wall getting any sort of documention
  19. beyond an overview of the parallel protocol itself (in Seyer's
  20. book).  What I really need is a text that explains how the port
  21. is programmed as well as some good examples.

  23. Can anyone out there recommend a good book, send me examples/instructions,
  24. or tell me where I can ftp them?
