- I am currently involved in a senior design project that requires me
- to interface an external device to a PC parallel port and
- control it using that port (since PC parallel ports are bidirectional).
-
- However, I have run into a wall getting any sort of documention
- beyond an overview of the parallel protocol itself (in Seyer's
- book). What I really need is a text that explains how the port
- is programmed as well as some good examples.
-
- Can anyone out there recommend a good book, send me examples/instructions,
- or tell me where I can ftp them?
-
- Thanks in advance for any help.
