  31.   the Mac. Indeed, both Word 6 & WinWord 3 will have the same engine and

  97.   - The US software companies MacWarehouse and MacZone are coming in
  98.   France and all the Mail-order companies here are far from being happy
  99.   of this new competition. It will imply lower prices, higher
  100.   professionalism, better service. However, the mail-order market only
  101.   represents 7% here, so...

  103.   - The new catalog of National Instruments (measure instruments, s/w...)
  104.   is now available free.

  107.   - Tandon is now promoting its Positive series and sells the 386SX-33 (4

  111.   HelpWare! It's a new free 24h/day service for IBM customers. When you
  112.   need assistance or else, just call it! At Tandon you have something
  113.   similar called Private Access Club :)

  115.   - About 100% European computer manufacturers..well, can I really talk
  116.   about them. Bull, the state-own French company (that is loosing
  117.   millions of $ each year), is selling 100% US stuffs: IBM's RS6000, old
  118.   Honeywell computers, Zenith...well actually you can call it Big Blue's
  119.   biggest public branch of the world! Nothing better in the UK: ICL is
  120.   80% Fujitsu, Apricot is now Mitsubishi's, Inmos..well is french (!) and
  121.   Amstrad is just assembling asian components. Philips decided to stop
  122.   building pcs (a few years ago), Olivetti is in great pain, Victor
  123.   (former Swedish company) is now called Tandy-Grid company! What about
  124.   taxing US computers...anybody working in the GATT??!
