- If you do a lot of downloading, using a 9600 baud modem is
- cheaper. At 9600 baud, the cost is something like $22-$23/hour. If you
- download a 100K file, here's what you pay (ignoring the fact that
- Compuserve bills in 1 minute increments):

- Note that I've listed transfer rates lower than the theoretical maximum.
