- I'm trying to add a secondary IDE hard drive ( Conner CP - 3044 ) to a no-name PC
- which currently has a Fujitsu model M2616ET hard disk. But I haven't been able to
- successfully define a master-slave relationship, as the system hangs periodically
- ( in DOS and linux ).
-
- Are the two drives' IDE interfaces incompatible ( both modern drives 91&92 ) and
- so will I need to get a HD controller that avoids master-slave relationships by
- having two seperate cables?
-
- Thanks
-
- Graham.
