  13. I'm trying to add a secondary IDE hard drive ( Conner CP - 3044 ) to a no-name PC
  14. which currently has a Fujitsu model M2616ET hard disk. But I haven't been able to
  15. successfully define a master-slave relationship, as the system hangs periodically
  16. ( in DOS and linux ).

  18. Are the two drives' IDE interfaces incompatible ( both modern drives 91&92 ) and
  19. so will I need to get a HD controller that avoids master-slave relationships by
  20. having two seperate cables?
