- I recently bought the MAG 15" along with an ATI Graphics Ultra card and I
- can say that its a killer combination. The display has no visual defects and
- even if there were, for a $600 monitor that does what it does, I could accept
- minor defects. It actually is more capable the the $1200 NEC monitor. But I
- digress..
-
- Yes the screen is clear but you have to pump the refresh rate to 72Hz to
- really take advantage of it so if you have an old video card it may appear
- fuzzy to you. (Tho, this would be true with any monitor). At 72 the clarity
- at 1024x768 is stunning. I don't like to run Windows at 1280x1024 because
- things are just a bit too small even if they are clear. (My glasses are
- thick enough. ;-)
-
- Bottom line... I'm extremely satisfied with the MAG and I don't think you
- can beat it from a bang for the buck standpoint either.
