- You could try a low-level formatter like Spinrite or you could do your own
- low-level format (backing up in both cases of course). You might try
- copying the system files to the hard drive from a bootable floppy (make sure
- you have the correct version of DOS), see the SYS command in your DOS
- manual. If you use the SYS command be sure to copy COMMAND.COM as well if
- you have a DOS ver < 5.0.
