  33. You could try a low-level formatter like Spinrite or you could do your own 
  34. low-level format (backing up in both cases of course).  You might try 
  35. copying the system files to the hard drive from a bootable floppy (make sure 
  36. you have the correct version of DOS), see the SYS command in your DOS 
  37. manual.  If you use the SYS command be sure to copy COMMAND.COM as well if 
  38. you have a DOS ver < 5.0.
