  13. Last night, while pondering an appropriate choice of laser printer, it
  14. occurred to me that that is not a wise investment, since producing
  15. quality documents may also require a scanner and a photocopier is also
  16. a nice toy to have.  If you stop and think about it, a photocopier is
  17. a scanner (printer) without a computer interface.  So, said I, I
  18. should find a machine capable of all three functions.  Referring back
  19. to the November issue of Byte, there was a review a such a beast, made
  20. by OkiData, called Doc.It, but the puppy costs $4k.

  22. So, net.world, are there any machines out there that combine all three
  23. funcitons into a single package?  How much do they cost?  Are they
  24. PostScript compatible?  How about print speed?  Etc.
