- Well, usually one uses special disk-duplication equipment, which is a bit
- expensive, but in my opinion worth it, as it decreases considerably the
- chances of the original disks being reformatted, corrupted or virus-infected.

- It is not foolproof - a machine may be modified to write to notchless disks,
- or the detector might be faulty, but ....

- If you want to distribute your own software on notchless disks, but don't
- want to invest in a duplication machine or pay for the service, you can
- disable the detector on your machine, so it can write to those disks.
