- These are lines inherent in trinotron monitors. It is a trinotron, right?
- These lines aren't something to worry about. If I kept up on the exact
- technical jargon, I could explain them. I only know that they are some
- sort of guide wires that the monitor uses.

- I was able to reconfigure my Father's Gateway 486DX/66V with the crystal
- fonts 1024x768x256 and everything seemed to work better. You may not have
- to go all the way back to the vanilla VGA. If the crystal font stuff
- doesn't work, there is always the VESA compatible 800x600x16 that comes
- with the windows disks.

- According to what I've heard from Gateway, there is a file on their BBS
- called ATILB43.EXE that is supposed to fix the print cutting off letters
- problem while running the mach32 driver. I have also heard from one person
- who reinstalled his HP LJIIP driver after he had installed the mach32
- driver and he said that his problem disappeared. I haven't tried this yet,
- but I plan to. (Couldn't yet because the BBS is down until Wed.)
-
- You are very right in saying WHAT'S THE POINT OF THESE MACH32 DRIVERS? As
- I've said before, the Ultra Pro could push 5 BILLION winmarks, but it
- doesn't mean anything unless we can use it. The way the Mach32 drivers are
- now, they are unusable. EVERYONE has to print at some point. Let's just
- hope that Ati fixes the problems.
