- I'm building a pointing device which is Microsoft Mouse compatible
- through the IBM PC's RS-232 serial port.
-
- I need to know how the mouse communicates its information to the PC.
- Specifically, I'd like to know the timing, handshakes, packet organization,
- and everything required to build a Microsoft Mouse compatible device.
-
- If anyone has this information, or can refer me to a book or article
- which contains this information, please send me email at:

- el27166@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu

- E-Mail is preferred since I don't read this newsgroup. If this
- is not the right newsgroup, or if there is a more appropriate one, please
- let me know also.

- Thanks,
