  12. I have Compaq VGA card that I acquired some time back. It is a 16 bit
  13. card. I was told that it needed all 16 bits to produce color. However,
  14. when I put the card into my XT I found that it produce the same colors
  15. in the 8 bit slot.

  17. So this has me wondering what this card is capable of doing. There are
  18. two proms on the card with the following numbers on them.

  20.         109794.003 and 109793.003
  21.  
  22. It also has a large Paradise PVGA IC on the card along with 3 oscillators.

  24. There is also a paper label that says,"Compaq diamond FOOIL"
  25.  
  26. Can anybody help me out on this card. It works fine, I just want to
  27. know more about the card.
