- Well, I just bought it this weekend. THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!!!!!
- AWESOME!!!!!!! It does require 4Megs of COMPUTER memory to run, and a VGA
- monitor (I think it is 640x400, 256 colors, but not completely sure.)
- The missions are very fun to play, not too difficult, but not too easy either./
- One feature I think is awesome is that the enemy CANNOT shoot you BEHIND
- TERRAIN!!!!! That is really cool feature. In addition, you get to fly down
- canyons at high speed, pop up, and blow enemies away. The controls are not the
- greatest, but manageable. I wish that you could make more use of a joystick -
- you can fly around, but it does not enable elevation change, you must use the
- + and - keys to change elevation. The game is not all that big, about 8Megs on
- the Hard disk, but a FAST computer is definately recommended. It runs great on
- my 25Mhz 486, but probably would not be very good on a 386. It does NOT run on
- 286's, and it uses it's OWN MEMORY manager, much like Ultima 7, but some
- computers, like mine, require HIMEM.SYS to be loaded also. There are many
- cool features in the game, however, it does lack variety in enemies, there
- only being about THREE different types. But it is much more like a shoot-em up
- type game than a full flight simulator. Kind of a mix of both. It is
- definately worth buying, and it has NO STUPID DOC CHECK PROTECTION!!!!!! So you
- never waste time looking up those stupid things in the manual. The game is
- pretty pricy at $60.00, but I think it is money well worth spending, if you
- like flight simulators. Don't expect realistic terrain, but it does look
- EXACTLY like the back of the box.
