  13. I apologize if I'm going to ask a few questions that have been
  14. answered over two weeks ago or so: I've just read through 1200
  15. entries (at least), so my eyes are really shot, and this is my only
  16. opportunity to get answers (since I'm only visiting campus this weekend.
  17. I'm simply stuck at a few points and don't have access to any
  18. other clue medium (except paying for a phone call to the Clue Line.)

  42. 1. What's the answer to the Well's riddle? I've busted my brain
  43.    but STILL haven't figured it out.

  45. 2. I've told Rossarian what I've come for, but he REFUSES to talk to
  46.    me. My diplomacy is over 50 (Lord), I've given him gifts AND money
  47.    NUMEROUS times (the jerk), and even CHARMED him numerous times,
  48.    making him "pleased," and then quite often the scumbag ATTACKS me.
  49.    What am I to do? Is this a glitch? A Mindread mentioned "Old City";
  50.    what do I need from this guy? He's really annoying me. [Yes, I had
  51.    whimsically agreed to the High T'Rang's request earlier, simply to
  52.    avoid conflict. Is this why all the Umpani I seem to meet attack me
  53.    no matter what? I'm quite willing to be amiable with them...]

  55. 3. "Laughing Boy" on the Wanderer level of Dane Tower is killing me
  56.    (realistically as well as figuratively). Is there ANY way to
  57.    protect myself from his stupid flame shots? I know how to open
  58.    the far gate and find the Immortals book; I simply had to heal and
  59.    rest between each gate, but THAT can't possibly be the easy way
  60.    through this (can it? PLease say no.) And please tell me I can kill
  61.    Laughing Boy at some point. PLEASE! (He really has it coming.)

  63. 4. I killed Kyman Turan (he attacked me for not tithing, after I
  64.    had to pay Tullen 10000gp to finish the wanderer task--no MORE money
  65.    to Danes from ME, thank you.) I got the Fools map. DId I need Kyman
  66.    for anything else, or was it OK to kill him too?

  68. 5. The High T'Rang took off. Where? And how can I kill Shritis? I
  69.    never get the option anymore. And how do I juice up a dead Guard
  70.    to get him to talk?

  72. 6. Someone mentioned finding coins near a pond. Where's the pond?
  73.    And even if this solves the "urn" problem, does this open each one
  74.    of the four doors with the half-goblet surrounding the slot?

  76. 7. Obviously I need a key to get into the Umpani Detache. Can I get
  77.   this from Rossarian? (Or from somewhere else?)

  79. I have other questions but I think I can figure them out on my own
  80. now. Hopefully this stuff will open up doors for me (excuse the pun)
  81. and get me moving again. At the moment, I'm simply wandering the land
  82. killing monsters for experience (12th level characters) because of a
  83. lack of any practical solutions. I'd really appreciate an answer before
  84. I leave for home on Sunday, if any of you are feeling really kind or
  85. sorry for me. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate the help.
