  14.     Well, just went out and bought Star Control II.. However, when
  15. I try and install from the provided floppies to my c: drive I get the
  16. following error:

  18. Out of environment space
  19. Bad command or file name
  20. Making directory c:\STARCON2...
  21.  
  22. File not found - :INSTALL.BAT
  23.  
  24. then I get a message telling PROBLEM:  Can't create directory \STARCON!..
  25.  
  26. I'm running Stacker 2.0 on my hard drive with DOS 5.0.. I thought maybe I
  27. didn't have enough convential memory so I took out some TSR's and reached
  28. 604,000 bytes free.. still didn't work.. so I tried to change my files to
  29. 40 and my buffers to 20 but still same out of environment space error..

  31. I have installed many other large games (ie. Wing Commander II, LinksPRO)

  33. Does anyone have any suggestions or should I return my copy.. Although, I
  34. really don't think it's the software...
