  16.     first of all, let me say that this game blows the pants off of BOTH
  17. Wing Commander Games and StarFlight 2. It beats Wing Commander on the "get you
  18. involved/movie game" genre as it has much better music and graphics, both of
  19. which get you really involved. It beats StarFlight 2 on Space Exploration via
  20. better graphics, more interesting aliens, more realistic (or at least detailed)
  21. planets, and on combat and action.

  45.     But praise aside, I need some help. I met the Melnorme Trader ship at
  46. Alpha Centauri before I had an ample supply of lifeforms. In other words, I
  47. didn't have enough credits to buy ANYTHING. Now I have plenty, and he/she/it is
  48. no longer there. Where else do you find them? Are they on a schedule?
  49.     Also, where is the Slylandro Probe's planet? If this is an integral
  50. part of the solution of the game, then don't tell me. If they are just a minor
  51. nuissance that needs to be taken care of, and not part of the major plot, than
  52. please DO tell me. Their attacks are annoying the hell out of me.

  58. P.S. And YES Wing Commander can be compared to Star Con II on the basis of the
  59. "movie" factor. Wing II's music SUCKED and the graphics were ok. The music in
  60. Star Control is incredible! As is the sound effects and the graphics. IMHO,
  61. Origin needs to get their act together.
