- These were the first positive comments that I have heard about GPU. My
- friend found it unplayable on his 386 so he gave it to me to try on my
- 33-486. It lasted about 3 days on my hard drive.
-
- Problems:
-
- 1) It's too fast on my machine and far too slow on a 386. Surely Accolade
- could have had the game adapt properly to different computer speeds.
-
- 2) It crashes my system occassionally (the only game I've EVER had that
- does so).
-
- 3) The SoundBlaster sound quality is dismal.
-
- 4) Do I really have to tell the game my desired settings each time I
- wish to play? For instance, that I have a joystick attached?
-
- 5) It seems like the graphic artists did their thing before the coders
- had a decent car model created.
-
- Oh why can't the makers of Indy500 create a VGA Formula 1 simulator?
- Anyone want to buy my friend's copy of GPU? Going cheap.
