  11. Recently I downloaded 2 files from wuarchive with the .zip extension
  12. Before downloading I set the transfer mode to binary.

  14. My problem is that I can't unzip these files.

  16. I have tried pkunzip versions 1.1 and 1.93a and also unzip50.

  18. Is there another type of compression which uses the .zip extension, or
  19. are my downloaded files hopelessly corrupt?

  21. Oh, the two files were VF1.ZIP and SODDEMO.ZIP both downloaded around
  22. Nov. 12.
