  28. The vorpal sword does not exist in Secret of the Silver Bonds.  It's just a
  29. red herring.  Now a vorpal sword does exist in Pool of Darkness (part IV of
  30. the series, Secret of SB is part III)

  32. As proof, I broke out my hex viewer (Norton's Disk Edit) and looked for the
  33. vorpal sword in the internal weapon list.  It wasn't there.  Nor was there a
  34. message about xxx being beheaded.  Both of these strings appeared in Pool of
  35. Darkness (in their programs.)
