- Hello World.
-
- As I was waiting patiently for my GUS thru the EA special offer, my friend
- went out and bought one at CompUSA. We wanted to see how good the SB
- compatibility was, so up went WOLF3D. The music sounded a little wierd,
- and sometimes the game locked up (pretty consistently). OK, maybe we
- picked a bad game. STUNT ISLAND then made it's debut. The voices sounded
- like they had a lot of static. Some of the EuroDemos were next, the
- SB music was *TERRIBLE*. If I chose a high mixing speed, it was extremely
- garbled, if I chose a slow speed, it was very staticky. Is this a common
- GUS problem, or does he have a bad card? Any opinions on the GUS ability
- to emulate SB is _greatly_ appreciated.
-
- Thanks for any info!
