- Okay, here's the deal...
- I've been playing Star Control 2 for a day or so, and I keep having troubles...
- According to the update.txt file, emm386 can cause problems. Fine. I junked
- it. Game seems to have sped up a little, but not much else.
-
- Here's the trouble. Every time I try to use the star map / auto-pilot, it
- will display the name of the star at the top of the screen. Only problem is
- that 90% of the star names are jumbled and strongly resemble chronic line
- noise. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm not running under windows
- or anything like that, and the only 'different' software I use is stacker...
- The game is unplayable like this, because even if I can still move the cursor
- after this happens (yes, it locks up with this error too) I need to find very
- specific stars...
-
- Any suggestions?
- (Great game... I just hope I don't have to take it back...)
