  21. Yes.. this version of tetris is indeed the one that was supressed before.
  22. Tetris was written for the hp48sx very early at HP.  And then as one might
  23. expect it was found to be pretty popular.  A goodly number of the hp48sx
  24. hacks there got copies.  Unfortunately at least one copy got out and this
  25. I presume is the one you have.

  27. Anyway, I've been waiting a long time to talk about it.  I'm glad it's 
  28. out and available.  Joe Horn listed all the features but I'd like to 
  29. comment that everything was done very well.  I don't believe anyone is
  30. going to find any bugs in this software. A few points to comment on.
  31. - As Joe stated two player mode is sweet.  Found my hp to hp connector quite 
  32. useful for this purpose.

  34. - It's very fast, and the higher levels are pretty scary, but you have 
  35. further to go unlike the other machine language tetris.

  37. - The scoring is consistent with the original game if I recall correctly.
  38. Sometimes it's better just to start at higher levels because not as many
  39. points are available at lower levels unless you can take out multiple rows
  40. all the time.

  42. - Changing the key layout is very intuitive and simple to do.

  44. Overall it's a quality bit of software.

  46. I just hope people aren't so burned out on tetris games for the h48sx
  47. that this one doesn't go over well.  I think it'll be a hit eventually.
