- I cannot get my HP48sx (rev E) to go into USER-lock anymore. It *used*
- to go into USER-lock when I hit left alpha, left alpha, but now, that
- just takes me into 1USR and back out. When I'm in 1USR, with user-keys
- defined, they still work; without user-keys defined, the keyboard just
- beeps at me. The ONLY way I can get into USER-lock is by -62 SF... and
- when I do, it *stays* in USER-lock, no matter what I do (well, barring
- an ON-C -- that still gets me out :-\). When I set it manually, with no
- user-defined keys active, hitting keys makes it beep at me. I've
- changed my flags for another HP48sx owner's (thanks to Ian Frechette),
- and still the problem persists. I've manually set -60, -61, -62 (and
- -63 just to make sure) to 0, and still no change. Has anybody ever had
- this happen, and if so, how did you fix it?
-
- It's driving me NUTS!
