- that Coma Mode (ON-SPC) not only turns the calculator off, but it also
- supresses the operation of the internal clock. In other words, the
- clock doesn't increment while the calculator is in Coma Mode. This
- feature is used by the manufacturers and retailers to lengthen battery
- life (the clock takes a little bit of power since the internals are
- being changed).
