- Hello HP-world,
-
- currently our group is using (amongst others) a diskless cluster of 340/400
- machines, which are served by one machine. Now, is it possible to take one of
- those out of the cluster and install a SCSI disk in it in one of those 340s,
- effectively turning it into a standalone workstation ? One of our
- system-administrators thought that it was only possible to use HP-IB disks,
- which are more expensive, making things less feasible.
-
- Any opinions/real life experiences appreciated.
