- I would expect VAX sales to continue very strong for the next 2-5 years as the
- world transitions over to Alpha AXP. Certainly we want people to move to
- Alpha AXP as soon as it makes sense for them to do so, but the world can rest
- assured that Digital will remain committed to our VAX customers as long as
- VAX is important to them.

- Just take a look at the PDP-11. The last time I checked, which was a couple
- years ago, the PDP-11 was still a $1 billion a year business.
