- I want to install Ultrix on a VAXserver 3600 remotely. I have Ultrix 4.3 on
- CD-ROM, and the 3600 only has tape. So, I set up RIS on a system with CD-ROM
- to accept the 3600, but when booted via Ethernet and after selecting the
- drive for the root filesystem, it fails, complaining that the system could
- not be found in risdb, but it is in fact there. A second attempt claims it
- cannot access the drive (RA82).
-
- Can anyone tell me how to get around this?
