  23. For a <$1K laser printer, try the Abaton LaserScript LX. I paid $1099 for
  24. it, but it should run about $999 now. Its a 6ppm printer with 2.5 or 4MB
  25. memory. It has 2 serial ports, 1 parallel and 1 AppleTalk port. All can be
  26. active simultaneously and are multiplexed internally. It also has automatic
  27. PostScript/HP switching.
