- For a <$1K laser printer, try the Abaton LaserScript LX. I paid $1099 for
- it, but it should run about $999 now. Its a 6ppm printer with 2.5 or 4MB
- memory. It has 2 serial ports, 1 parallel and 1 AppleTalk port. All can be
- active simultaneously and are multiplexed internally. It also has automatic
- PostScript/HP switching.
