- I assume you are using the old version 2.0 of GFA BASIC? If your interpreter
- saves its files as *.BAS, it's the 1.0 or 2.0 verison. If it saves them as
- *.GFA, it's 3.07 or above.
-
- Although the GFA BASIC 2.0 interpreter was placed into the public domain some
- time ago, the compiler for 2.0 remains commercial software, not P.D. It is
- available in the US directly from GFA Software Technologies, 27 Congress Street,
- Salem, Massachusetts or by calling 1-800-766-6GFA.
-
- Word of advice... if you are trying to do anything in GFA, go ahead and spring
- for the upgrade to GFA 3.5 with full documentation. It is light years ahead of
- the old 2.0 version and well worth the upgrade fee. Or you might hold off for
- the "imminent" release of version 3.7 which promises full Falcon/MultiTOS
- compatability, new GEM based editor and other goodies.
