- to cope with different clock frequencies, i.e. just pop out the quartz
- and the CPU and put in faster ones. I found this unbelievable back
- then (designing frequency-independent motherboards is not trivial,
- especially when high frequencies (like 50 MHz) are involved).
- Apparently Atari dropped that idea. Too bad.
