  30. The system you are talking of does indeed work on an ordinary phone line,
  31. and will be in sale in Britain in the new year. The company which developed
  32. the phone is Plessey.

  34. The it compresses the data by only sending the differences between pictures,
  35. rather like the video conferencing technology. The frame rate is VERY low,
  36. something like 5 frames per second and it is quite low res.

  38. I'm very sure that the Falcon's hardware could easily cope with the data,
  39. and what with the video phone costing initially about 400 pounds, it
  40. wouldn't be THAT much more of an expensive solution, assuming that the phone
  41. interface could get BABT (the British phone testing agency) approval.
