  12.      I've gotten the GemView 2.01 from a.a, and I'm pretty impressed with 
  13. its ability to display those lovely multi-color pics on my (medium rez) 
  14. screen.  I do, however, have two questions:

  16.      1) How can I save the pictures in anything other than X-Gem?  There are 
  17. a couple of other formats listed in the save dialog, but they're greyed out.

  19.      2) (Related question) Is it possible to do direct conversions, i.e. 
  20. load a Spectrum picture and save it back out as a TIFF without color 
  21. reduction, dithering, or anything else that would degrade the picture 
  22. quality?

  24.      I realize these are probably answered in the docs, but since I read no 
  25. German at all, the docs aren't much help.  Any/all suggestions are 
  26. appreciated.
