- Some form of Unix I'd guess (Ultrix?). A vt200 series (vt220=
- character terminal/vt240=graphics terminal-color even) terminal is
- very useful for a real OS such as VMS :-).

- Wonder no longer... :-).
-
- A vt220 terminal has many more keys that can be defined for multitudes
- of things. I do some development work for a multiuser program that
- uses ALL of the keys on a vt220. It is much easier for me to remember
- the vt220 key sequences than the vt100 keys.
-
- Also, there's the question of familiarity. Wouldn't you rather have
- one type of keyboard ?? How many people actually USE a vt100 key board
- ? Why should I be limited to a keyboard from the dark ages (sort of
- reminds me of those cheesie Mac keyboards without the function keys) ?
-
- The real issue (I've said this before but it must not have made to the
- outside world) is "What do we really want ??!!!!" As far as features a
- vt102 compatible "terminal" mode should be the minimum for any
- terminal program. For a KEYBOARD, I wouldn't want anything less than a
- vt220...
