-
- Please help to get information about network software for Atari TT in
- a UNIX environment.
-
- I have got FTP.TTP, TELNET.TTP and XTT.TOS from PAM Software (Mainz,
- Germany) on a TT with internal (standard VME) ethernet board.
-
- FTP works reasonably well. TELNET emulates VT52 only.
- FTP and TELNET lack a history function.
- XTT is a beta version of X-server software (X11R4).
- It turns the TT into an X-terminal on a Silicon Graphics mainframe,
- works well but has some bugs.
-
- One problem is that PAM seems not to work on any updates.
- Atari has X software, but only for there own network, I was told.
- Other problems are that I'd like to have lpr, xterm and xhost on the
- TT, but that seems to be impossible (multitasking?).
-
- Could anybody advise me?
