  18. No, I don't use any patches whatsoever and I don't lose characters at all,
  19. but then again, I have the 1200 baud Slug-Modem (tm).  :)  My roommate's 
  20. getting a Supra v32.bis in a few days so I'll have to try it out with that
  21. and see what fixes are necessary.
