  13. I think there is a utility in the atari.archive that enables you
  14. to transfer programs on tape to disk called TAPEDISK.
  15. I think these are the POKEs you want:
  16. POKE 65,0 <-SIO sound off; POKE 65,1<-SIO soud on
  17. POKE 731,1<-speaker off (XL/XE only) POKE 731,0<-normal
  18. The only devices I am aware of that connect to the paralell bus
  19. is the MIO and the Black Box.
